The water emerges from its springs at temperatures of to 48°C and is said to provide the following therapeutic properties: it is good for problems with muscles and sinews, arthritis and joint inflammation. Gastein thermal water has low mineralisation and contains the natural inert gas radon. Radon is absorbed through inhalation and through the skin, it delivers its health-promoting action and dissipates entirely within just a few hours.

The radon in the water is very transient and therefore the thermal water that you are able to enjoy exclusively at our hotel no longer contains any radon. The heat is very pleasant for muscles and bones and the wonderful softness of the water is of course maintained, giving you fresh and balanced colouration and a silky-smooth skin. However, you can if you so wish enjoy water containing radon in the special thermal jacuzzi baths in our hotel.

In addition, you can also enjoy Gastein thermal water in specific applications in the form of the Gastein thermal jacuzzi baths in our hotel. After one or more baths, you will also enjoy peaceful deep sleep and will awake feeling very restored.
