Award-winning leisure programmes

Hotel Sonngastein offers this to children: a professional, age-appropriate childcare programme for a total of up to 45 hours a week from Monday to Friday (for children out of nappies, from the age of 3) and a wide range of activities as part of our weekly programme for children in the hotel and in the open air with excursions in the local area.

Summer season: Mon - Fri, 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Winter season: Mon - Fri, from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 4.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

With our games programme, that we promote vigorously, everyone can get involved. Parents get to know their children even better, children and young people see what their parents are still capable of doing and, in the evening, everyone has a lot to talk about over dinner or afterwards in the fireplace corner, the Kaminstüberl. We like nothing more than for everyone to be having fun, laughing, romping and feeling great about themselves again.

Weatherproof thanks to the largest indoor Family adventure arena of all hotels in Austria with 1700 m². The Experience Building is equipped with games, sports and fun things to do for children of all ages.

Comprehensive ski instruction package for children

Pay attention all ski bunnies!

Children are collected at the door of the hotel in the morning, they receive professional instruction, lunch is provided with supervision, then at the end of ski school in the afternoon, they are collected from their ski course and, by about 4 p.m. they are back at the hotel to be reunited with their parents.

Now parents can enjoy the freedom of an unencumbered day of skiing.
